This is a unique opportunity for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to step into a leadership role managing maintenance crews across Western Australian mine sites while building strong relationships with clients and site management teams.
Duties:
- Lead and supervise a crew of Heavy Diesel Mechanics across WA mine sites
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers and maintenance supervisors
- Assist with business development and securing ongoing maintenance opportunities
- Oversee quality, productivity and compliance across your crew
- Mentor, train and develop team members
- Assist with breakdowns, diagnostics and maintenance activities as required
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure site standards are maintained
Skills and Experience Required:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
- Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in mining maintenance
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing maintenance crews
- Experience working with multicultural teams
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work across FIFO mining operations
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
