Duties:
- Servicing, maintenance and repair of various Mobile Plant equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
- Attending breakdowns onsite
- Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines
- Component change-outs
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Proven field service experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Own tooling specific to the trade
- Experience on Caterpillar, Hitachi and/or Komatsu Mining Equipment
- Experience in the mining industry (FIFO)
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Mobile Plant Mechanic) / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or similar
- Air Conditioning & Refrigeration licence (desirable)
- Valid Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
